Robert Arneson, the great California Artist (who made a ceramic sculpture called California Artist), once said something like this:
"I do a lot of self-portraits because as models go I'm very cheap and I never came late to a drawing session."
On that principle, I did a whole series of cameraphone nude self-portraits just for the hell of it, but this is the only one that made it to the Internet so far. Then I used Photoshop to add color and texture.
Just me and my Moleskine pocket notebook in my local coffeehouse. The mug is from Starbucks, but the coffee is not.

I'm still curious about what I can do with this fershlugginer blog. Since I can upload photos from Flickr, maybe I wil turn this into a "Best of Flickr" blog. Or maybe not.
